How to Delete Your Data
You can request deletion of your ChefPost account and associated data through the following methods:
Option 1: Delete from the App
- Open ChefPost and go to Settings
- Tap on 'Account'
- Select 'Delete Account'
- Confirm your decision
Option 2: Request via Email
Send a deletion request to our privacy team. Please include your registered email address and restaurant name for verification.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your account information (name, email, password)
- All posts, images, and captions you created
- Social media connection tokens and account links
- Usage analytics and activity logs
- App preferences and settings
Deletion Timeline
Your data will be deleted within 30 days of receiving your request. During this period, your account will be deactivated immediately. Some data may be retained for up to 90 days in our backup systems before being permanently erased.
Important Information
- •Data deletion is irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
- •Content already published to social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X) will remain on those platforms. You need to delete them directly from each platform.
- •We may retain certain data as required by law, for legitimate business purposes, or to resolve disputes.
